We are looking forward to our inaugural company season. While this is our first year of operations, we bring a wealth of experience in the dance instruction and industry space, and we are more than ready to apply our backgrounds and passion to the delivery of high quality dance education in support of students’ growth and development as company dancers.​​

Dance Company requires a notable investment of time, focus, effort, and financial resources from students and families. We acknowledge and appreciate that level of investment and commitment, and we are focused on making your experience positive and constructive.

We provide a rigorous program, while maintaining a physically and emotionally safe space for the exploration of dance and the development of confidence and capacity.

We believe in accountability and holding Company members to the highest standards of work ethic and teamwork, and as the ambassadors of these standards, we hold ourselves to the same standards.
What does Company Provide
Our company program includes a robust and well-rounded offering of classes with an emphasis on technique and developing a diverse stylistic skill set. Our Junior Company dancers attend 10.5 hours of required instruction and rehearsal per week. Our Senior Company dancers attend 12.5 hours of instruction and rehearsal per week.
In addition to weekly, intensive, multi-faceted training, company dancers will periodically be provided with supplemental classes to help them further develop their own unique style and their confidence at conventions and auditions.
Opportunities to perform and compete at local and regional conventions and competitions are an integral part of the company experience and will be supplemented with additional opportunities for dancers to learn from and work with industry professionals at workshops and intensives held here at our studio several times a year.
Company dancers are welcome and encouraged to participate in other offerings and opportunities in the local and non-local area as available. Our philosophy of learning is inclusive and growth-centered. Dancers should pursue opportunities for learning and development outside of Midwest Motion’s studio and schedule as they are willing and able to do so.
